Hi! I'm Emily!
I'm the founder and chief creative at Hetho and Co. As a passionate, creative feminist, I LOVE to combine art and fashion by sourcing designs from female artists (especially Aussie ones!) to make pretty and unique clothing.
All custom Hetho and Co garments are designed and hand cut by me in Toowoomba then sewn by either me or a highly skilled local seamstress.
I have some behind the scenes help from my wonderful family to pack and send orders during busy times.
I want the clothes I make to be comfortable, colourful, and joyful. I want strangers to compliment you in the street. I want you to feel beautiful and confident. I want you to reach for your Hetho and Co garment over and over again because you love it so much!
If you're having trouble choosing the size or style that suits you, contact me via email (hello@hethoandco.com.au) to organise a virtual fit assistant appointment.
About Hetho and Co
Hetho and Co is a small clothing and accessories brand that creates fun, colourful, ethical, slow fashion. The fabrics used to make Hetho and Co clothes are a mix of exclusive, digitally-printed 100% cotton fabrics and premium designer fabrics from female-owned businesses such as Nerida Hansen, Material Difference, and Hello Friend Fabrics.
With sustainability in mind, we package and send products in reused, recycled or recyclable packaging to minimise waste and plastic pollution. Fabric scraps are repurposed or composted.

The Supply Chain
Some of our custom, digitally printed cotton fabrics are printed in Brisbane at APPLiK, and others are printed in China or India. Designer fabrics (from the suppliers above) may be printed in Korea, China, and India. Check out those businesses for more information about their supply chains.
Readymade garments are cut and sewn in small quantities in Brisbane at a boutique clothing manufacturer.
All limited edition accessories are made by skilled craftswomen from around Australia.
